Around Yeliu (野柳)

Thursday, February 2, 2012

Yeliu is a place with various nice scenic views but mainly at the Yeliu Geopark. Along the way towards the Geopark, you will see this calm looking sea with boats and other buildings at the other side of the sea.

This place looks like some kind of habour or something I guess.

The cars are sometimes parked at weird places, e.g. the pavement.

Also, I get to see the men on training during my trip there.

There's also a rather big temple in the area.

This looks like the paper burning area.

And the innovative fly chasing mechanism at the Yeliu St Market area between the entrance and the exit of the Yeliu Geopark.

I think all the scenic places in Taiwan has a entrance fee to help maintain the area or something as here's the photo of the Barrier blocking us from entering without the entrance fee. Seeing this, we walked back to the entrance to get tickets to the Geopark.
